Strengthening how your mind and body interact has PROFOUND implications for your health, like reduced stress and anxiety, improved immune function and stronger emotional resilience.
Here are 3 ways to strengthen this connection:
Notice your breath. Bringing awareness to your breath will give you access to full presence, which is the simplest way to connect your mind and body.
Tune into movement/sensation. Be intentional about how you move your body. Notice sensations, bring focus to where your body is in space and apply full engagement.
Practice the pause. Notice the pause at the top and bottom of each breath. Perhaps create stillness in your body for a moment to fully acknowledge it. This may require pulling yourself out of autopilot, slowing down and practicing impulse control before your next move.
