Led by individual or a team of PPY instructors, workshops offer both an expanded and a more targeted view of your yoga practice. A hands-on, intimate setting affords students the opportunity to ask questions and receive more personalized instruction. Topics might include breath mechanics, pose progressions, and mindfulness and meditation—a chance to learn, play, explore. Rates vary. 

 

Arm Balance Workshop: Prep and Practice

With Alyssa Giacobbe and Severina Drunchilova. Ready to move past deep prayer squat and give crow a try? Interested in learning which way into headstand works best for you? 

Arm balances may look intimidating, but many are quite achievable! We will teach you movements to help strengthen and mobilize the muscles you need to move into arm balances on your own or during the flow of class. And they’re not just fun tricks: arm balances challenge mind and body all at once. They require—but can also help develop—balance and core strength, as well as increase your overall sense of stability and presence in your body. They also offer a great change in perspective! This workshop is right for all levels.
