Led by individual or a team of PPY instructors, workshops offer both an expanded and a more targeted view of your yoga practice. A hands-on, intimate setting affords students the opportunity to ask questions and receive more personalized instruction. Topics might include breath mechanics, pose progressions, and mindfulness and meditation—a chance to learn, play, explore. Rates vary.

Mindfulness for Performance

With Ali Cabana. This workshop seamlessly combines mindfulness and performance into one! Born out of her passion for yoga and more than 10 years in the fitness industry, Ali will educate you on how to get the most out of your practice, physically and mentally. She will provide specific exercises to build physical strength and reduce injury in powerful poses like chair and low push-up, explore ways to promote mind/body connection, and highlight tools for achieving that sought-after feeling of “flow.” Hands-on assists will offer tangible feedback. This workshop is designed for students with an active lifestyle and at least six months of yoga practice. Her desire is that this workshop will provide you with the practical knowledge and mindful inspiration to enhance any physical endeavor you embark on!

Pose Progression Workshop

With Alyssa Giacobbe and Severina Drunchilova. Curious about poses like bird of paradise, bound half moon, crow, wheel? Already practice these poses but interested in making them feel easier or better? Join us for a fun workshop focusing on variations of inversions, arm balances, single leg poses, backbends, and binds. We’ll take the time to break down some common pose progressions and give you the steps, tools, and confidence to help you continue building them on your own. This workshop is right for all levels (no matter your experience or flexibility!). Plan for a 30 minute warm up flow, then we’ll tackle 5-6 poses.
